Girls deserve better than songs depicting them as things to be used rather than people to be revered. We’re tired of TV, radio, magazines, and other forms of media limiting our value, downplaying our abilities, and selling us short. We are here to encourage, collaborate, create, and inspire. Our bodies are NOT our currency.
We are a grassroots organization made up of people who care about the self-esteem and well being of girls and are crazy enough to work for free. Right now in this very moment, people are donating their time doing web design, working on papers to file our 501(c)3 status with the Federal Government, and brainstorming how to make this sustainable. Because we are grassroots, we can still serve the girls that need us while we push paper and do all the grown up stuff that needs to get done.
